Treatment

A treatment plan starts with an intake interview. During this interview, information is requested about your current symptoms, including both physical and psychological symptoms, personal and medical history and environmental risk-factors that include current eating and living habits. Through this interview, we try to get a complete picture of the possible causes of your symptoms.

Then we discuss what is important for you to achieve. This allows the treatment programme to be set up specifically according to your wishes and needs.

The intake session lasts 60-90 minutes on average. Follow-up appointments last on average 60 minutes per session.

At the end of the interview, we discuss the set-up of your treatment which suits the right pace and duration for you. The interventions during the treatment including a look at nutrition & supplements, exercise, breathing, rest, biorhythm recovery, hot & cold stressors and mental/emotional support. Attention is also paid to explaining the purpose of the interventions so that you understand why these interventions are included in your personal plan.

The time of recovery depends on each person and is related to the body's ability and permission to revitalise itself. When discussing the treatment, I will give an indication of the average duration. My goal is to guide you to get the most energy and vitality out of your body.

  2. Empowering your body

  3. Personal one-to-one coaching towards recovery

1. Connect the dots

As a cPNI-therapist, I will make the clinical picture of your symptoms by an extensive intake consultation, as everything could be contributing to the complaints you are currently facing. This will involve me asking about:

  • Your physical and mental state

  • Personal and medical history

  • Current eating and living habits

  • Environmental factors during pregnancy and childhood

  • Supplemented by information about your parents and/or ancestors

Next to that clinical laboratory testing can be added to this picture.

2. Empowering your body

“Illness is a means of communication to tell your body that you are not doing well”

Getting insights on the interconnectedness of your symptoms to universal disrupted mechanisms results in a targeted and unique way to restore homeostasis. By strengthening and addressing the body's self-healing ability, you will feel empowered.

Within cPNI discipline the self-healing ability is addressed by stimulating the body with hormetic stressors. These hermetic stimuli can be found in the form of the right diet, exercise, breathing, biorhythm recovery and hot & cod stress-stimuli. Triggering the body with hormetic stimuli affects a key-player protein called NRF2 to go into survival mode. NRF2 affects 270 genes that, upon activation, produce various proteins that have proven positive health effect on the body. Meaning under stress, the body tries to keep itself alive and will protect it-self which results in a healthier state.

These hormetic stimuli are proven interventions from the science of the cPNI’s intermittent living concept.
